Amazing! I've stayed in countless holiday rentals before, and this is definitely amongst the top few, absolutely beautiful, perfectly located right across Umdloti beach. The apartment is stunning with all the essentials and more, spotlessly clean and with panoramic ocean views; it was idyllic. The pool in the complex was amazing too! Communication with the host was very easy, and check-in and check-out were seamless. I will definitely be returning to this wonderful place.

Magnificent! An amazing apartment with great views of the ocean. The apartment was very beautifully decorated with all the essentials and more that one would require. Susan was a great host. It is a must stay if you are looking to visit Umhloti. A very relaxing stay as opposed to Umhlanga where I frequently stayed. I will definitely be back!

Awesome and wonderfully memorable. Let's get the negatives out of the way first as there were few, important to mention, but did not hinder our holiday: My dad is wheelchair bound and that meant we had to park outside the unit on the road to bring my dad onto the premises – including assembling dad's wheelchair on the roadside. The lift needs to be from the garage/parking area inside the unit or a ramp needs to be built from the car park/garage to the ground floor to get to the lift - it is extremely difficult to carry bags and items up and down the stairs (we were not advised of the luggage trolley when we got to the unit and that meant lugging up our bags and cooler boxes and items up those stairs from the garage – and we had to make several trips. What if the guest driving is wheelchair bound? How would they get to park their vehicle and get to the first floor? Then this was not a major issue as we cleaned up regularly, but there were ants on the counters at various times in the day, and on one morning when emptying the dishwasher, a small cockroach ran along the dishwasher - (but pest control can manage this). By the second day of our stay, there was a nasty smell emitting from the shower drain in the shared bathroom. Netflix needs to be a permanent feature like DStv. The actual building is really ‘run down’ – and needs an upgrade, although when you enter the unit, you don’t see and forget the building. Now for the positives – our holiday was to celebrate my dad's 87th birthday, and my dad and mum love the ocean, so this venue was perfect in terms of the location. The positives were, the water was literally 'on our doorstep' and the sound and view of the ocean was beautiful and ‘healing’… watching the breathtaking sunrises over the ocean. The pool was clean – although too cold to use. We got to see whales and a school of dolphins (which was awesome). The other positives were the constant activity outside, the venue was neat - had the small touches to help make our stay perfect, the venue had all the appliances you would require to make your stay comfortable (iron and board, horse, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, gas stove and braai, and a coal light braai stand, WiFi and smart TV, fans and air cons). The shops were within walking distance - the venue in terms of the kitchen, lounge, dining and entertainment area is perfectly designed for the whole family to be together but still doing different things. The crockery, cutlery, and pots were amazing to use on the gas stove and I would love to purchase those myself. We were most grateful that the owner permitted us to check out a little later – to accommodate getting our elderly parents ready. Susan was always available via WhatsApp to answer our queries. A huge thank you to the owners and Susan. Overall - our stay was wonderful and so memorable.
