123Vyfer on Whale Trail offers comfortable self-catering accommodation in a spacious 100 m² two-bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, located just 100 meters from the rocky coastline of De Kelders in Gansbaai.
The apartment is on the ground floor and is equipped with an inverter and backup battery system to power everything during power outages. It has a private entrance leading from the underground parking area, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen, living area, and dining area with an indoor braai. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, and the second bathroom features a shower and bath, basin, and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The modern kitchen is equipped for long-term stays, including a full range of high-quality appliances: fridge-freezer, microwave, oven, gas stove, toaster, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine, and ample cookware.
The living area features a 4K smart TV with streaming services for Netflix, Prime Video, Showmax, and Disney. Guests do not need their own login details for these services. Please note there is no satellite TV or DStv.
The apartment offers free Wi-Fi, a built-in safe for valuables, ceiling fans in each room, and an alarm system connected to a monitoring and response unit. All windows are fitted with burglar bars.
A bike rack for 4 bikes and a washing line are available in the private backyard. There is also enough firewood for the first braai.
This is a ground-floor apartment with no stairs inside, but there is a half-step to the front porch and a maximum of 2 steps outside.
Please note that children between the ages of 0 and 10 cannot be accommodated. Smoking is prohibited, and pets are not allowed.
It is worth mentioning that a new house is being built diagonally across from the apartment; however, the area remains a quiet and secure neighborhood. Guests are encouraged to explore the surroundings on foot, with paved walking paths along the rocky coastline and longer hiking routes. The beautiful caves, walking, and hiking trails in Walker Bay Nature Reserve are within walking distance of the apartment. The reserve also offers an easy 4x4 route through the dunes, where guests can enjoy sundowners and breathtaking sunsets. The area is popular among mountain bikers as well.
Between 30 and 45 minutes from De Kelders, guests will find some of the best golf courses in the Southern Hemisphere.
123Vyfer is less than a 2-hour drive from Cape Town International Airport, 39 minutes from Hermanus, 15 minutes from Stanford, 5 km from Gansbaai, and within walking distance of Die Plaat and Walker Bay Nature Reserve with its 22 km-long beach, beautiful rock pools, and sand dunes.
