Description

1322 Backpackers International is set in the bustling suburb of Hatfield in Pretoria East. This well-established, family owned and run business has been welcoming guests since 2005. It's only a 10-minute walk to Hatfield Square, restaurants, most Embassies, and shops. The backpackers is 500m from the Gautrain and close enough to the hustle but just far enough to be surrounded by tranquillity.

It is a great base for exploring Pretoria, Johannesburg and Gauteng in general, somewhere to relax and get accustomed to the country before exploring further into Southern Africa. If you want suggestions on what route to take, how to spend your time, what’s value for money, then simply ask.

Tours can be arranged both locally and further afield and several tours can be arranged at over half the price of some advertising companies. Look at the trip and the price of trips that can be arranged to Kruger Park.

1322 Backpackers International is based in a quiet street in a safe area next to the University sports grounds and very close to the shops and nightlife of Hatfield and many of the embassy buildings. Enjoy the pool, the fabulous garden, the lapa and braai area, a bonfire if you wish, DSTV, and one of our many games and social activities.
