2 Pause Cottage is a lovely self-catering cottage located in Malgas on the Breede River.

The cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests and an extra child if required. It comprises 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, an open-plan kitchen, and a small dining- and lounge area. The first bedroom is furnished with a Queen bed while the second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. Good quality duvets and linen are provided in each room, however, guests are required to bring their own towels. The bathroom contains a shower, basin, and toilet.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, gas stove, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, and crockery. There is also a 4-seater dining table and chairs. The lounge opens to a covered patio with a table and an outside braai area. The cottage also has a private jetty.

Here, guests can enjoy bird watching, fishing, and the beautiful view of the river. The river in this area has deep water for boating. Alternatively, one can visit SIJJN Wine Farm on a Saturday between 9 am and 3 pm or take a drive to Infanta for whale watching or for a walk to The Point. De Hoop Nature Reserve is about 20 km away and well worth a visit.
Please note that a high clearance car or 4x4 is advisable.
