33 Berg Self-Catering, named after Swellendam’s famous landmark, the Langeberg Mountains. You can relax on the wide veranda keeping track of village life.

We would like to welcome you to our spacious home and garden with its relaxed country atmosphere. Great care has been taken to preserve its Cape Country heritage. Solid wooden furniture and family treasures are combined with everything you need for modern comfort. We have three self- catering double rooms with options for an extra bed in two rooms. An added luxury is our complimentary home-baked rusks.

Berg Street, with its long and shady sidewalk, invites you to join joggers and hikers, and admire the view of the mountains, or you can cool down in our pool in the garden. You are also within walking distance of restaurants, historic buildings and the business centre.

Swellendam is an excellent destination for nature lovers. You can explore two close-by Cape Nature Parks, namely Marloth and De Hoop, as well as the Bontebok National Park. Our area has a vibrant agricultural community. Travelling on surrounding gravel roads you will find whitewashed cottages and barns, eucalyptus trees lining farm roads and ever-changing landscapes depending on the season. We will gladly assist you with information to make the most of your stay in Swellendam.
