Description

4053 Olifant is a rustic self-catering holiday home situated in Marloth Park, a wildlife conservancy and holiday town situated on the southern border of Kruger National Park. It is a popular stopover for tourists travelling to the Kruger National Park, Swaziland, and Mozambique, offering a chance to spot four of the renowned Big Five.

This thatch-roofed house comprises 4 bedrooms and accommodates up to 12 people. All the bedrooms contain a double bed as well as a single bed. One of the rooms has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, while the second bathroom is separate and fitted with a shower.

The kitchen is equipped with 2 fridge-freezers, a 5-plate gas stove with oven, microwave, and an automatic washing machine. In the open-plan living area, guests will find an 8-seater dining table and a cosy lounge suite where guests can unwind. Upstairs, there is a second lounge that opens onto a deck, offering elevated views of the surrounding nature and wildlife. The open-plan lounge and dining area lead out onto a covered patio with a plunge pool where guests can relax and observe the free-roaming wildlife. There is also a braai area available.

Guests have the opportunity to observe a variety of indigenous wildlife and enjoy birdwatching from the premises. Local activities encompass game drives, wildlife observation, birdwatching, 4x4 excursions, and hiking adventures. Shopping centres, a water park, and restaurants are located nearby for guests' convenience. Game drives can be arranged at the information kiosk.
