Sublime! The photographs simply do not do the log home justice. It is a wonderful escape from life and so comfortable and inviting. The surroundings are simply stunning with easy access to the dam on foot. It was super easy to get our key and the information and guidelines were very clear and easy to follow. We were even made aware of local activities taking place during our stay, which I thought was really thoughtful. We will definitely be back!

Lovely for families living busy lives to get away and remember what's important. Our stay at a log home was just what we needed as a family living the busy city lifestyle. We wanted real quality time with each other without the normal routines and to do so surrounded by the natural world minus the polluted city; this is exactly what we got. Tranquil, stunning views and accommodation that had all the essentials needed. The accommodation had everything we required. Check-in as well as the details sent were accurate and easy. The location is amazing and I would definitely recommend.

Cozy, relaxing, and unforgettable escape in nature. The Log Home at Buffalo Creek has truly become our home away from home. We had the chance to experience everything it has to offer. Friday gave us perfect weather for stand-up paddling on the beautiful Buffeljagsrivier dam, followed by a relaxing evening in the jacuzzi. Saturday brought colder weather, but we embraced it fully — cooking a delicious potjie and watching the rugby by the cozy fireplace inside. It was the perfect winter weekend experience. Our host was wonderful and sent us lots of helpful information and recommendations for things to do in the area. We will definitely be back!

Natuurskoon. Stilte. Ontspanning. Braai. Ons was opsoek na akkommodasie vir 'n werkstrippie, maar nou sal ek weer moet kom vir 'n naweek/vakansie. A log home in Buffeljagsrivier is 'n lieflike wegbreekbestemming. Ons het die kol-kol bad baie geniet! Een aand tot 22:00 in die bad gesit en luister na die krieke, die Afrikaanse naguil en gevlekte ooruil. Die houthuis het 'n baie unieke gevoel, wat mens onmiddellik oorskakel in die vakansie-bui. Baie lekker!

Chilled and restorative. We had such a lovely chilled time. The hot tub, space for cricket, the braai and fire pit, lots of outdoor places to sit and read. Stunning dam nearby, lots of nice running trails.
