Description

MiniVillas offers beachfront self-catering accommodation with direct access to Blythedale’s pristine main beach. The property is located 68 km north of Durban and 43 km from King Shaka International Airport, and is set on spacious, landscaped grounds with panoramic views of the Indian Ocean.

Accommodation is offered in 9 A Villas, several of which are located on the beachfront, while others are set slightly further back near the B Villas. Each unit can accommodate between 4 and 6 guests and comprises a separate bedroom and an open-plan sleeping alcove. Bed layouts vary per villa and may include a combination of a double bed, single beds, or a bunk bed, making them suitable for families or small groups. The bathroom in each unit is fitted with a bath, an overhead shower, a toilet, and a basin.

The kitchens are fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, kettle, and dining table. Each unit is fitted with ceiling fans, a TV with DStv Stay Basic Bouquet, and free Wi-Fi. A private braai area is available at each villa, while additional on-site facilities include a laundromat and safe-keeping facilities.

The resort provides a tranquil coastal setting where guests can relax in natural surroundings, enjoy the lifeguarded and shark-netted swimming area, or unwind beside the large communal swimming pool. Blythedale is one of the few unspoiled villages along the KwaZulu-Natal North Coast, with intact coastal vegetation and clean seawater. From the property, guests access the beach via a gated entrance along a short private pathway. MiniVillas is well-positioned for both relaxation and adventure, with nearby attractions including golf courses, microlight flights, guided nature tours, and game reserves.
