Aan’t Kanaal B&B and self-catering is situated less than 2km from the Kalahari Mall and 4 km from the CBD of Upington. Bordered by an expansive park and an irrigation canal – hence its name, Aan’t Kanaal – it also overlooks the renowned vineyards of the Green Kalahari. Although Aan’t Kanaal is situated within 300 m of the N14 it offers a tranquil atmosphere, enhanced by abundant, indigenous bird-life. The swimming pool is available to guests whilst an expansive garden contributes to the relaxed surroundings. The Parkrun route for Upington also starts 50 m from Aan't Kanaal in Liebenberg Street - an early Saturday morning run or walk for the fit on the banks of the Orange River.

Guest accommodation consists of 2 en-suite rooms within the spacious main house as well as a self-catering flat. All rooms and the flat are fitted with split-unit air-conditioners, a necessity during the hot summers and cold winter nights. DStv (Stay essential commercial bouquet) is available in all the rooms as well as Wi-Fi.

Aan’t Kanaal B&B offers breakfast only. There are several reasonable restaurants in Upington where guests can have lunch or dinner – directions and advice available on request. Braai facilities are available at the self-catering flat. Coffee and tea facilities, a small fridge and a microwave are available in the rooms and flat.

Family groups are welcome but small children must be supervised at all times especially at the pool and in the garden. The property also accommodates pets in the self-catering flat. Secure parking with remote-controlled access is available within the premises.
