Description

Abalone-Inn is a self-catering holiday home located in Hermanus, a popular holiday town on the southern coast of the Western Cape. It is world-famous for fantastic whale watching opportunities from the land and boats. The town's scenic beauty, temperate climate, outdoor activities, flower-rich landscapes and easy driving distance from Cape Town make it the ideal base from which to explore the Cape Overberg.

The house can accommodate up to 6 adults and comprises 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The main bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the third bedroom has 2 single beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a showe,r and there is another bathroom with a shower and a bath.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a gas stove with electric oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery and crockery. The dining area seats 6 guests and the lounge area has a comfortable lounge set with a flat-screen TV and full DStv. There is also unlimited fibre Wi-Fi.

The house opens onto a veranda with a built-in braai and can be a closed room with folding windows or completely open when the windows are folded. This area has a large table with chairs for entertaining.
From the verandah, there is also a boma for wonderful outdoor gatherings.

There is an inverter that covers everything in the house except the oven, electric heaters and washing machine and tumble dryer.

The entrance gate works with a remote control, as does the double garage.
