Description
Acacia Cottage is a self-catering private retreat, located on a hectare of farmland in Prince Albert, within walking distance to restaurants, museum and shops. Children are welcome, making it an ideal getaway for a family, or for 2 couples travelling together. The owner stays on the farm, but the cottage is completely private.
The cottage consists of 2 en-suite bedrooms with king-size beds that can be converted into twin beds on request, a bath in one and shower in the other. Bath and swimming towels are provided. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning, fans and mosquito nets for summer, wall heaters and mohair throws for winter.
The cottage is fully furnished with a well-equipped kitchen which includes all cooking requirements, a large oven, gas 5 burner stove, microwave, large fridge and a choice of teas, coffees, and rusks. There is a dishwasher in cottage and a cleaning and laundry service can be provided upon request for an additional charge. The open-plan living room has a cozy wood-burning fireplace and woolen blankets are supplied for chilly winter nights. The unit is solar-powered during day and during load shedding. It has strong Wi-Fi, but no TV.
The verandah provides for al-fresco eating overlooking the fields. A large and small portable braai are supplied with a “braai basket" with braai equipment. There is a swimming pool and a shaded area with chairs.
There is an automatic gate between the street and the property and off-street parking is available.
Please note the holiday home is not pet-friendly as we have so many of our own.
