African Roots Guest House is situated in Polokwane, located between the city centre and the established suburbs of Bendor and Welgelegen. The guest house offers a quiet and comfortable stay with warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere. The guest house is part of the original farm house built in 1928, and features original pressed ceilings and Oregon pine floors that have been retained. The architecture has been adapted to a more contemporary style.

Accommodation is offered in 22 rooms, each with an individual entrance to the garden or swimming pool. Each room is tastefully furnished with a blend of antique and contemporary furniture and a collection of original artworks. The queen rooms have their own lounge and a fireplace for those cold winter nights. The twin and king rooms are equipped with air-conditioning. Each room has a TV with selected DStv channels, a mini fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. A full English breakfast is served, accompanied with fresh seasonal fruit, cereal and yoghurt. Lunch and dinner are served on request. Inverters and batteries are installed for uninterrupted power supply and Wi-Fi.

Guests have access to secure parking with remote control access, as well as 24-hour wireless internet. The conference venue caters for up to 40 people, depending on seating arrangements. Full conference packages are available on request. The location offers easy access to cinemas, restaurants, and shopping malls.
