Ahoy Farmhouse 1 is located in Paternoster, a quaint fishing village situated on the western coast of South Africa. The farmhouse is located on a large property with 4 other units. This house is perfect for a family holiday or a group of friends having a breakaway.

The house can accommodate 10 guests, this includes children of all ages The house has 5 bedrooms - 3 in main part of house, 2 leading from stoep.. The main bedroom has a double bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The third bedroom has 2 single beds with a separate bathroom with a shower. The fourth and fifth bedroom has 4 single beds on 2 floors (steep flight of stairs to 2nd bedroom) and share the en-suite-bathroom with a shower.

Please note that if a booking is for 6 persons(this includes children of all ages), only the 3 bedrooms & bathrooms in main part of house will be set up, stoep rooms will be closed. If the group of 6 people need the other 2 bedrooms as well, this needs to be communicated during booking process, as an extra charge might be applicable.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and has a microwave, stove, oven, kettle, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery. Tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, salt and pepper are provided for arrival day and convenience only. The open-plan lounge area offers a dining table, comfortable seating and a TV with a limited selection of DSTV channels.

On-site facilities include a built-in private braai under the trees in the guests' private garden overlooking the town of Paternoster. Guests must bring their own wood and firestarters.

The old water reservoir has been converted into a communal swimming pool which is for the private use of guests staying in the 5 houses on the property. Please note that the swimming pool is not fenced in and does not have a safety net.

The town is a popular tourist destination for people who seek its Mediterranean-style atmosphere, lime-washed cottages, traditional fisherman’s architecture and endless white sandy beaches.
