It is one of the better places you will ever stay in! The place is big and spacious, it has a fantastic view and is the perfect place for a family break away. It is close to the beach and the town centre. I can highly recommend it to anyone; it is well worth the stay.

Beautiful warm welcoming home. Best weekend ever. The house was perfect, beautiful and very organised! Will definitely be back.

No frills. We were disappointed with Alchemy because: 1. There was no heating in the house. There was a gas heater with a gas bottle, and there was an inside fireplace with no wood available or no communication to bring wood. 2. There was no TV. This was a game changer as we paid over (amount) to stay with no TV. We missed multiple sports events which we wanted to watch at our accommodation (Springboks vs Wales, URC rugby final, SA T20 World Cup). 3. Only one toilet roll was left per toilet. Not sure if this is the norm.

Hi Eugene, Regarding the gas, I apologise for not being aware of the missing gas bottle for the heater until recently. It has now been replaced, as my staff did not inform me about the issue. I also did not receive any contact from you at the time. As for the wood, it is supplied and stored in the cupboard under the braai. If you had looked or reached out to me, you would have found it. I have now added this information to the list posted on the fridge door, along with the WiFi password, which I sent to you before your check-in. Concerning the TV, it is not listed in our amenities. I also messaged you this information before your arrival (please check your messages). For toilet paper, we have a cupboard fully stocked. Again, I did not receive any call or message requesting more. I provided you with three contact numbers before your arrival, but it seems you did not use them to address any concerns.
