Description
Aloha House 15 is located on the beachfront in Ponta Mamoli, Mozambique, approximately a 40-minute drive from the Kosi Bay border along sandy roads. The property offers a lodge-style setup with 5 pods, comprising 4 bedrooms and a separate kitchen and living area, comfortably accommodating up to 12 guests.
The bedrooms are thoughtfully designed for comfort and privacy. Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2 each feature 2 single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed, along with an additional daybed. Bedroom 3 and Bedroom 4 each contain a queen-size bed with an additional daybed. All bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans, en-suite bathrooms fitted with showers, front and back verandahs, mosquito nets, hanging spaces, and counters for clothing and personal items. Bean bags, blankets, and cushions are also provided. Guests should note that items left outside overnight may be damp due to high humidity, and black bean bags left in the sun can become very hot.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove and electric oven, along with a blender, coffee plunger, and a free-standing fridge and freezer. A chest freezer is available in the scullery. Guests are advised not to operate the microwave, toaster, and kettle simultaneously to avoid power trips. Hammocks are provided and can be hung safely by the staff, though beams on the verandas are not intended for hanging. All doors should be closed at night.
The property does not have DStv, in keeping with its tranquil and secluded location. Wi-Fi is available via a Vodacom SIM card, and an HDMI cable allows guests to stream content through the TV. A Bluetooth speaker is provided for music, and the staff can load data onto the SIM card as requested by the guest.
Beach access is via designated walkways to protect the dunes from erosion. Aloha House 15 offers a peaceful and exclusive setting, with exceptional sunrise and sunset views. The beach in front of the property is ideal for walking, swimming, snorkelling, and play, while the surrounding bush is home to abundant birdlife, butterflies, monkeys, and chameleons.
