Pleasant location. We enjoyed our stay at Annis Nest - the fireplace was an added bonus, especially during the chilly evenings.

Above expectation. It was exceptional. Nice, cosy and quiet.

Pleasant and relaxing. The place was spotless. As there were no guests the previous night, we could self-check in early. The adjoining cottage was vacant, so we had the property to ourselves. There was quite a lot of road traffic as it's on the corner of a busy road, but it became quieter as it got darker. A Nespresso machine is handy, but perhaps advise guests to bring their own capsules (we did). Also, the shower was extremely hot, and when we tried to make it a bit less hot, it went too cold. There was no middle ground; it seems it would have been more of an issue if we stayed for longer than a night. But overall, a well-equipped and well-set-out unit.

Nice for overnight but not self catering. The location is excellent, but this is not a self catering unit; there is no space to prepare your food and the basin is outside to do the dishes. For a night's accommodation and a cup of coffee in the morning, this is perfect.
