Bush retreat is an apt name. Wonderful! A beautiful, peaceful location with great walking and star gazing. We saw impala, duiker, warthog, squirrels and many birds. Lovely, big bath. Rugs upstairs would really help reduce the noise of those moving about.

We had a great stay, just disappointed with the pool which was dirty. Nice place and everything was as listed. It was easy to find and the instructions to get access to the place were clear and easy to understand. The only negative was the pool which was not in good condition. My friends and I had a good time and would definitely come back.

Our stay was fine, the road is quite good and the place is safe. Toilets and bathrooms need good cleaning before the guests' arrival. There were leakages in the cabin, and we had to wake up in the middle of the night with our children crying and we had to move them, due to the bed being wet. The owner should do maintenance beforehand.

A lovely peaceful weekend at Aske. Our stay at Aske Bush Lodge was nothing short of magical. The cottage, with its cozy and quaint charm, provided the perfect retreat from the world. It is safe and secure. We loved the peaceful surroundings, and the breathtaking view over the mountains was unforgettable. During the day, we enjoyed spotting cows and buck roaming the farm, which added to the idyllic farm atmosphere. At night, the view of the Milky Way and stars was simply spectacular—a stargazer's dream. The bed was comfortable, the linen was soft, and the bigger towels and little pamper packs in the bathrooms were a thoughtful touch. While the top-floor loft has its own character, it can be a bit creaky, so light sleepers might notice it. Be sure to bring plenty of wood for the bonfire; sitting by the fire under the stars was one of our favourite moments. We couldn't have asked for a better weekend away!

Lovely restful stay. Lovely setting. Very quaint home but comfortable and warm. Loved the time on the farm with my family.
