Avalon Springs Resort by Dream Resorts is a popular holiday resort in Montagu in the Western Cape. This could be an ideal option for either a romantic getaway, a business trip or a family holiday as it is situated approximately 2 hours from Cape Town and the resort offers a variety of on-site activities.

This resort offers guests a choice of hotel rooms which can either accommodate 2 or 4 guests or lovely Mountain Chalets which can each accommodate up to 4 adults and 2 children under 12 years at a time. All hotel rooms are furnished with a double bed and feature a private en-suite bathroom fitted with either a bath and a shower or just a shower. Crisp white linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels. Other in-room amenities include a tea and coffee tray as well as a TV with a full selection of DStv channels. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.

The Mountain Chalets comprise 2 en-suite bedrooms as well as a child-only double sleeper couch in the lounge. Both bedrooms are furnished with 2 single beds which can be converted into a king-size bed on request. The first bathroom is fitted with a bath, while the second has a shower.

Additionally, these chalets have a living area with a kitchen fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher, cutlery and crockery as well as a breakfast bar with stools. Leading from the kitchen is a lounge with comfy seating and a TV with a full selection of DStv channels. Access to free Wi-Fi is available. Outside each chalet, there is a covered patio with an outdoor dining table and a built-in braai which is an ideal spot for a sundowner in the evening.

Avalon Springs spoils with stunning views as well as a children’s play area, 2 restaurants, a café, a guest lounge and a spa. Additionally, the activities offered include the popular heated swimming pools, hiking trails, mini-golf and tennis courts.
