A piece of paradise. We were a group of 4 adults and 4 children aged 10 years and 6 years, and we had an absolute blast. The views and surroundings are breathtakingly beautiful. We managed to get a good run in on the first morning, followed by lots of swimming, a tour and meet-and-greet with the vervet monkeys, and a hike up the mountain just before sunset. Some of us also enjoyed mountain biking and thoroughly enjoyed it. The units are all spaced in such a way that you can enjoy a barbecue or glass of refreshment by the fire while watching the sun set or rise against the mountain. The unit is fully furnished with all the necessary linen and kitchen equipment. You can choose a complete data detox offline, or you can opt for WiFi from the venue should you need to check emails and messages while there. Aside from monkeys and baboons, there is also other wildlife that makes it a true bushveld experience. Our tour with the monkeys was very interesting and insightful, and helped us to understand baboons and monkeys better. They never bothered us thanks to the guidance we got and the water pistols – again thoroughly enjoyed by the kids. The dogs in the yard were so sweet with the kids and with us, especially Heidi, who decided to be our running partner and mountain tour guide. We loved her. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a proper weekend getaway and can highly recommend this place. Thank you very much for your hospitality, and everyone else whose names I may not have caught. We saw you and admire the work that you do.

I love Bambelela. I love Bambelela. When we got there we were greeted by the most friendly staff I've ever met. The kitchen was fully equipped. The tour we had with Charlie was very insightful and educational. The location is beautiful and tranquil. Erick and Belinda were also nice and very quick to help us with anything. We also went to see the baby monkeys, which was an amazing experience. The owner also helped us when needed. Overall, a very professional experience. I will definitely be coming back.

Stil en rustig. Ons was vriendelik ontvang en het met min moeite ingeteken. Ons huisie was goed toegerus met alles wat mens nodig het vir 'n naweek weg. Ons het die staproetes baie geniet en was gelukkig om elke dag 'n paar bokkies te sien. Die skoonmaakpersoneel is super vriendelik en vinnig, vir seker 'n aanwins. Ons was effe onkant gevang met die 4-ure lange kragonderbrekings elke dag (was darem gedurende die dag).

Baie lekker en kleintjie het dit baie geniet. Die diens was baie goed.
