It was a lovely visit with friends and family and can recommend it! It was fantastic to basically be able to stay on the beach. It's not a swimming beach, but if the children only want to swim up to ankle height, it's very nice and easy to go camping on the beach. The house and pool are in very good condition and would recommend for any large family gathering. The owners are also very friendly and accommodating. The yard is also very safe, with alarm beams in the garden and then an alarm on the porch. Our little dogs also enjoyed the runs in the mornings.

Worth it. Safety was a priority, the location (Lon point). The booking and the assistance from Joseph were great. It was a lovely weekend. I'm definitely going to take my family to experience being by the sea.

Excellent. Stay was excellent. Caretaker was very helpful. Only issue was with the breakage deposit that was paid. We didn't receive anything on paper to show all the items they have. We didn't use much of their cutlery and utensils as we also brought our own. I went through as much as we could with the caretaker when we checked in and when we left. There should be an inventory that should be checked. But nothing was damaged and we left everything clean. There were old damages that we found when checking in, but I showed them to the caretaker. He advised that he was aware of them. But it's a lovely place.

We had a great and relaxing stay at Big Bay Beach House. We had a great stay at Big Bay Beach House. It is a great place to relax and enjoy the ocean. We did, however, feel that when guests leave, the house should be given a spring clean, especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. There was a musty smell on arrival. Other than that, we were welcomed and treated well. Joseph was a great help.

A very calm, relaxing stay. It was absolutely beautiful. The view is stunning. I would actually love to visit again. The only thing it was missing was fans in the lounge and dining room. It also needs an inverter for load shedding as it was completely dark when it did go off.

It was nice. The house is big and lovely; however, when we arrived, the amount of mosquitoes was unbelievable inside the rooms, etc. The house appeared as though it was not aired out. The caretaker was amazing. The small shower water pressure was horrible, and most of the family didn't have hot water on the first day. Other than that, the location is beautiful and the stay was lovely.

Best holiday spot. We just love our yearly weekend trip at Big Bay - our kids are always super excited to go to the 'Beach House'. Can't wait for next year!

Very nice. Very comfortable house and using the place is a must. Porch area very nice hanging out area. Small shop with all the essentials within walking distance of the house.

Been phantasmagoric. Large rooms, large porch with enough seating where you can look out on the beach and sea. Swimming pool for the hot nights was a great treat and 15 meters away is the beach. No traffic near the house or town noise like in cities. Very quiet part and we could rest well. Will definitely book there again next year. We all thoroughly enjoyed it.
