Description

The Black Oystercatcher is a family-run wine farm at the cool southernmost tip of Africa. The self-catering cottages offer a peaceful and tranquil getaway.

The 4 Black Oystercatcher Cottages are beautifully furnished with king-size beds that convert into twin beds and feature private bathrooms. Each cottage has an equipped kitchenette with a microwave but no oven. There is an indoor fireplace and guests can step onto a patio and use the braai area.

The cottages overlook a wonderful fresh herb and vegetable garden and guests are welcome to pick some for their cooked meals. The cottages are set next door to the Black Oystercatcher tasting room and farm shop, on the working wine farm. Guests can enjoy a wine tasting and pre-book a platter for lunch at our venue, as well as enjoy some sweet and savoury snacks from our farm shop. The shop also offers a range of quality gifts.

Guests can make the most of our outdoor infinity pool to cool down, situated in front of the venue, with a natural landscape for cycling, hiking and other outdoor activities.

The cottages are in an open space and are not enclosed or fenced in, to provide guests with the full country experience.
