Bordeaux River Cottages - Merlot is one of 3 self-catering cottages located on the owner’s farm outside the small town of Bonnievale, Western Cape. This riverbank unit is an ideal stay for those who are looking for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.
This cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests in 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Both of the bedrooms are furnished with a double bed, while there are 2 additional single beds in the living area. The shared bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. Linen and towels are provided.
The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a 2-plate stove with mini-oven, microwave, cutlery and crockery and tea- and coffee-making facilities. The living room is also furnished with a ceiling fan, TV, dining table and an indoor braai. Access to Wi-Fi is available. Should guests wish to watch DStv, they are required to bring their own decoder or PVR.
Guests have access to a wooden deck with a braai that leads to a private jetty on the river, and there is off street parking available on the premises. Activities on the property include fishing and canoeing on the river. This property is approximately 11.6 km outside of Bonnievale where guests can enjoy amenities such as shops and restaurants.
