Description

Breathe River Retreat is a beautiful lodge nestled on the banks of the Vaal River. Set on a picturesque farm 15 km outside the town of Parys, the lodge provides the ideal stay for visitors to the area or those seeking a relaxing break surrounded by nature.

Accommodation is provided in a selection of 5 free-standing units. The free-standing units each have a private bathroom fitted with either bath or shower facilities. There is a kitchenette equipped with a fridge, gas stove, and microwave in the units, while the lounge offers a TV with DStv, an indoor braai area, and access to a verandah with river or garden views.

The lodge offers 3 additional communal braai areas as well as a Lapa with a fully equipped kitchen near the river banks. The Lapa has a dining table with ample seating, a lounge area that includes a TV with DStv, and an indoor braai area. The boma next to the Lapa is a lovely place to unwind around a campfire under the night sky.

Guests can enjoy cooling down in the swimming pool or enjoy other waterbased sports like fishing, kayaking, and river rafting at the river.
