Knysna Brenton-on-Lake Nature Retreat is a charming self-catering holiday home situated in Lake Brenton, Kynsna, offering a tranquil and relaxing stay for families and friends. This elegant, solar-powered home is located in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by indigenous forest and open bushveld.
The home accommodates up to 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Two bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds and feature en-suite bathrooms with a bath and shower, while the third bedroom contains a double bed with an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower. A guest toilet is also available. Wi-Fi is provided for guests’ convenience.
The open-plan living area features comfortable seating, a cosy fireplace, a TV, a dining table, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen includes air-conditioning, a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, and coffee- and tea-making facilities. A dedicated workspace is also available. The living area flows seamlessly into an enclosed entertainment patio with glass walls, featuring 2 luxurious daybeds and a dining table, perfect for relaxing, reading, or enjoying meals surrounded by nature. Beyond the patio, guests can enjoy an outdoor braai, lounge, and dining area overlooking the bush, where wildlife often visits.
There is ample open parking and space for those who bring along a boat. Boating enthusiasts can make use of a rope mooring on the lagoon, just a short walk away, for easy access to the water. The Knysna Lagoon and Brenton-on-Sea Beach are only a short drive away, offering soft sands, excellent restaurants, and a relaxed hotel bar overlooking the ocean. This retreat is a nature-lover’s dream, perfect for walking, cycling, or simply unwinding amidst birdsong and fresh forest air.
