Description

Ruigtevlei Farm is located 10 km outside the town of Gouda. The picturesque working farm is set on the banks of the Berg River and offers comfortable self-catering accommodation suited for families or groups of friends.

The accommodation comprises a choice of either a tented campsite or 2 free-standing units offering dorm-style accommodation. The Farm unit is located on the farm opposite Ruigtevlei, on the banks of a lovely dam. Each of the units has access to its own kitchen which is well-equipped to meet guests' self-catering needs.

The units each feature their own braai area while the tented campsite enjoys sole use of a private section of the river.

The Berg River flows through the farm and offers water-based activities such as swimming, canoeing (prior arrangement and at a fee) or fishing. Guests can also enjoy hiking, mountain biking(bring bikes along), clay pigeon shooting(prior arrangement and payment) on the farm.
