Nice weekend but got very cold. We stayed in Fisherman's Cottage. The accommodation was clean and tidy and had a nice view of the dam. There was plenty of wood for the fireplace and braai, and someone came in every day to clean the braai and kitchen. Perfect and beyond expectations. Our stay was just incredible - our whole group of 10 people were amazed at how wonderful the lodge is and the details that the owners have done to make you feel welcome. The facilities are perfect (definitely beyond expectation) and we had one of the most magical bonfires after which we lay watching the stars against the mountain that is lit up. We enjoyed sundowners while some of our group went looking for the rock paintings (a little bit of a challenge to find). We will definitely be back for a longer trip to explore and relax more.

Beautiful farmstay in the mist gorgeous surroundings. This is a little piece of heaven. A lovely farmhouse well suited for a family get-together. The service was wonderful, and the house was clean.
