Description

Buffalo Thorn Safari Lodge is situated 24 km from the Groblersbrug border post and is the ideal stopover on route to Botswana or Zimbabwe. This luxury lodge is part of a private game reserve and offers luxury accommodation for an overnight stay or a family break away.

Accommodation is available in 20 different units. All units have en-suite bathrooms. Some units have well-equipped kitchens or kitchenettes and a patio with braai facilities overlooking the waterhole.

The main building with its fireplace, lounge with a TV and selected DStv channels, Wi-Fi access, and dining room, leads out on to the spacious verandah, overlooking a waterhole. The verandah also leads to the swimming pool and boma, forming the perfect place to bring family and friends together around a crackling fire. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen also leads onto the verandah.

There is also a second entertainment area and boma. This entertainment area is well equipped with a bar, a TV with selected DStv channels, Wi-Fi connection and leads into a boma where communal dinners can be served.

The restaurant offers healthy breakfasts and home cook dinners for travellers and weekend guests alike.
