Description
Captain’s Cottage is a self-catering property located in Port Edward on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. It is set near the rocky shoreline with direct access to the water’s edge and a private beach.
The cottage features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can accommodate up to 6 guests. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and sliding doors lead to the front garden. The second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, with an additional bunk bed in the entrance alcove. Each bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and washbasin. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is air-conditioned.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with a fridge-freezer, gas stove and oven, microwave, kettle, and cutlery and crockery. The dining area has a 4-seater table and chairs, which provide 180-degree sea views, while the lounge offers comfortable seating and a smart TV with DStv. Outside is a sheltered area with an outdoor dining table and braai. The cottage is pet-friendly.
Local attractions include Port Edward downtown shops and Silver Beach, both within walking distance.
