Serene - beautiful mountain views - cosy indeed! We stayed for only one night and this was most definitely too little time to thoroughly appreciate all the amenities and mountain views on offer. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jenna, our kind and friendly hostess. She made us feel welcome and provided us with a comprehensive list of recommended activities and restaurants in the area. The check-in/out instructions were clear and convenient. Cosy Cottage @ Map of Africa is very well equipped and the pool and braai facilities have stunning views over the expanse of the forest. The unit is super neat and the lovely fragrance is refreshing. The bedding was amazing and it was great to have had the option of a double bed configuration. The combination of bird sounds and the ocean is incredible. Being so close to the Map of Africa was a great win and we visited the site four times during our short stay - it's something to behold!

Breathtaking views & spotless cottage. Highly recommend! We had the most amazing stay at Cozy Cottage at Map of Africa! My boyfriend and I were on our way from Somerset West to Jeffreys Bay when we decided to book a spontaneous stopover for the night—and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment we arrived (very late in the evening), the host was incredibly accommodating, ensuring a seamless check-in and going above and beyond to make our short stay unforgettable. The cottage itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and had the most breathtaking view of the Outeniqua Mountains. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations, and we only wish we could have stayed longer. If you’re looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway with outstanding hospitality, this is the place to be! Highly recommend!
