Before arrival, we made you aware that we had a family emergency requiring us to be away. As you did not reply or communicate directly or on the platform when we enquired if you arrived safely and if all was well, I assumed you were happy and enjoying your time with us.
On enquiring about this on our return, Internet SA confirmed that a break in the fibre line caused a major outage in both Bethlehem and Clarens. These things happen from time to time and had we been here, the best we could have done was offer you a mobile router to allow you to connect with data. Frequent speed tests are done by us and produce excellent uptime and results. I am very sorry that this occurred during your stay and clearly upset you.
Cottages are equipped with Netflix and YouTube - viewing options are varied and extensive. Guests also have the option of streaming DStv using their own sign-in credentials. The fibre line is normally more than sufficient to allow streaming and the watching of these channels.
