Crafters Lodge lies in the heart of Sodwana Bay village adjoining the iSimangaliso World Heritage Site. Crafters Lodge is situated 1.7 km from the beach at Sodwana Bay by line of sight and a mere 7 minutes by road. Crafters Lodge is a small secure complex that offers simple living ideally suited to the Sodwana Bay environment, set in charming rural surroundings.

Accommodation is offered in 4 self-catering cottages, Sisal Cottage, Reed Cottage, Coral Cottage, and Shell Cottage. The cottages are nestled in the natural bush. Sisal can accommodate 4 guests, Reed can accommodate 5 guests, and Coral and Shell up to 6 guests. Each cottage has its own self-catering kitchen and lounge area. Each cottage has a covered patio with outdoor dining furniture and a braai facility.

Guests have shared use of a communal fenced swimming pool. A laundry service is available on request. Secure parking is available.

Crafters Lodge is within 40 km reach of 4 of Kwazulu-Natal's major game reserves and 80 km from Hluhluwe. Sodwana Bay diving is unique in the world. Abundant corals, well-balanced fish-life and breathtaking natural beauty make Sodwana Bay reefs some of the most spectacular and fascinating in the world. Big game and deep Sea fishing made Sodwana Bay famous, and many prestigious international competitions are held there. Fishermen can book day trips or bring their own boats.
