A great place to stay. Value for money excellent. The accommodation was great, everything one could need was provided (including firewood)! The view over the Spring Grove dam is superb.

Heerlik vreedsaam en rustig. Ja, beslis. Alles was perfek, rustig en vreedsaam. Die plek het 'n ongelooflike uitsig en baie voëllewe. Sal verseker weer daar bly.

Beyond fantastic! Terrific hosts and a magnificent view. This was by far the most beautiful place I have been to. The house itself has everything you might need and more. It was clean, well-equipped with an absolutely breathtaking view. Our host was incredibly gracious and regularly checked in to ensure we were still enjoying our stay.

Exceptional cottage in a breathtaking setting! An exceptional break in a breathtaking location. Nothing can beat that view from the cottage over Spring Grove Dam! And the safety is so great, walking there is both fitness and food for the soul, including the trail around the dam. I walked every day a few times a day, and it was full moon, and the birds were prolific! Wow! I will definitely come again. Pity about the potholes to get there on about 8 km of municipal roads though!

Thank you, Janis. I feel very spoilt to be living where I do and it's just a pleasure to share that with others. Maybe the potholes get sorted as the section beyond Vaalekop is currently undergoing major structural repair so hopefully, but don't hold your breath, the first section will be next? The local farmers do their best to fill them but the recent heavy rains have removed much of the gravel. I'm sure they will redo shortly as the rainy season is coming to an end.

Weekend getaway in Nottingham. The cottage has beautiful views and more than enough space inside. Well equipped for cooking at home or a braai outside. Just a note that the cottage is not serviced on weekends, so the fireplace can get full quickly. Unfortunately, one of the rooms was not made up when we arrived, but it was done the next morning.

Ons kan The Crags beslis aanbeveel mits daar 'n paar opgraderings plaasvind. Uitsig is onverbeterlik en Graham is 'n goeie gasheer. Die sitkamermeubels en beddens kort aandag. Die feit dat The Crags 'off grid' is, is 'n groot aanmoediging vir ons om dit te ondersteun. Ekstra houers vir die recycling kan ook 'n plus wees. Graham huiwer nie om spesiale versoeke te akkommodeer nie. Die uitsig is regtig asemrowend.
