Your home away from home! Incredible. This was our second visit to Daneswold. The 2-bedroom cottage is immaculate and is also pet-friendly, which was a plus for my wife and I. This place has a breathtaking view of Hogsback and is also very safe. There is enough wood for the fireplace as well as for the covered outdoor braai. Fine wood and lighters included. If you need extra wood, you can ask Monica, our friendly hostess, and she will bring it to you. Please note: the roads in and out of Hogsback are terrible, especially from Cathcart. Comfortable, happy, contented. Hogsback is a lovely, enchanting town and Daneswold was the icing on the cake. It is modernly furnished with all the possible amenities a self-catering unit needs, and so much more. The garden is beautifully maintained and large and our dog enjoyed running around there. The view from the veranda over the forests is phenomenal. The hostess was very approachable and also kept us regularly informed of all events in Hogsback during our stay. She also followed up with us after we had already left to find out if we had arrived home safely. Daneswold was a lovely experience and we will definitely go back again.
