Paternoster's De Oude Muragie is nestled on a dune in Paternoster, about 100m from the beach. This beautiful cottage dates back to the late 1800s and was restored in 2007 by Mr. Theo Jordaan.

Experience the charm of a fisherman's cottage that retains its quaint atmosphere with 2 spacious bedrooms, separate bathrooms, and an original fireplace, despite the modern furnishings. The house is equipped with everything you need to have a good time.

Enjoy sundowners on the wooden deck overlooking the un-spoilt dune in the knowledge that the Khoisan enjoyed their shellfish on that exact spot around 2000 years ago. The patio and braai area are ideal for socializing.

This part of the country is always beautiful, but even more so between August and October when its wildflower splendor rivals that of the Namaqualand.

Activities nearby include cycling, E-bikes, kayaking, kite surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kite flying, and hiking.
