Description

Oude-Rest is a large and comfortably furnished self-catering apartment with a separate entrance located on the owner’s property in a quiet part of Oudtshoorn. This is an ideal option for a small family getaway for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also conveniently close to 2 new shopping centres.

This flatlet can accommodate a total of 5 guests (with a maximum of 4 adults) at a time and comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed, while the second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds. The living area is also furnished with a single sleeper couch. A shower-over-bath, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom. All linen and bath towels are provided.

The open-plan living area features a kitchen equipped with a 2-plate stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery as well as a breakfast bar with stools. There is a washing machine and a drying rack for clothes. Washing powder is provided. The kitchen leads to a sitting area with two couches and a sofa bed. A TV with limited DStv channels and free Wi-Fi is also available.

The unit opens up onto a covered patio and includes private outdoor braai facilities. Guests are afforded undercover parking behind a remote-controlled gate.

There is a swimming pool available and towels are provided. The use of the swimming pool is only for booked guests at Oude-Rest.

Guests need to remember that Oudtshoorn is very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The apartment has air-conditioning and there is an additional fan for the summer and electrical blankets to keep extra for the winter.

Oudtshoorn offers a variety of activities such as walking and hiking trails, mountain biking, 4x4 trails and camel rides at Wilgewandel.

Guests can also visit various attractions such as the Cango Caves, ostrich farms, the Cango Wildlife Ranch, the CP Nel or the CJ Langenhoven Museum.
