Desert Dew Guest House is situated on Modderfontein Farm in the Victoria West area, 35 km from Three Sisters on the N1. The guesthouse does have an entrance from the N12.

Accommodation comprises 3 self-catering chalets and 6 rooms in the main house. Each of the self-catering chalets feature a fully equipped, open-plan kitchenette and lounge, a TV with DStv, and a braai area. Each of the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, a mini bar, tea- and coffee-making facilities, a TV with exclusive DStv channels and Wi-Fi.

On-site facilities include bird watching, cycling, and mountain biking.

Horseshoe mountain, on the farm, is the highest point between Cape Town and Johannesburg in a straight line. Desert Dew Guesthouse is the halfway stop between Cape Town and Gauteng, the perfect place to unwind before the long journey. There are also 6 natural springs on the farm, hence the name Desert Dew.
