Die Blouhuis is a cosy bright blue farm house located on Vergenoeg Farm in Swellendam. The farmhouse is secluded which makes it the ideal breakaway for guests searching for a private getaway.
The farmhouse features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a separate guest toilet. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, a toilet, a basin and an outdoor shower. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and the separate bathroom is fitted with a shower, a toilet and a basin. Linen and bath towels are provided, but guests are required to bring along their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area features comfortable couches, a built-in braai, a single bed and a kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and contains a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, cutlery and crockery. There is a separate guest toilet available.
Swellendam is situated on the Garden Route halfway between Cape Town and George. The well-known Route 62 is also accessible from Swellendam. Nearby activities include bird watching, hiking, cycling and mountain biking.
