Description

Die Perdestal is a self-catering cottage located on Mierkraal Farm along the R316 outside Napier in the Western Cape. It offers a peaceful farm stay experience in a rural setting.

The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests and is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. The bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, washbasin, and toilet. The loft area features two single beds along with books, puzzles, toys, and board games for children. An additional separate bathroom with a shower is available. Linen and towels are provided.

The open-plan living area includes a lounge, dining table, and an indoor fireplace that doubles as a braai. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, microwave, single-plate stove, gas camping stove for load-shedding, convection air fryer oven, and basic crockery. A coffee station includes a kettle, toaster, and Nespresso machine. Braai equipment and a mobile pizza oven are also provided. Large folding doors open onto a covered stoep and garden area. Wi-Fi is available.

On-site facilities include walking trails, a river for swimming and kayaking, picnic areas, and opportunities to observe farm animals and seasonal farm activities. Guests may also explore birdlife and local plant species. Secure parking is available.

Local attractions include the town of Napier, Bredasdorp, local hiking and cycling routes, and nature viewing opportunities.
