Die Ruskamer Cottage @ In the End is a free-standing unit situated on a shared estate that includes a main house, vineyard, orchard, and garden. Inspired by the agritourism and slow food movements, this charming retreat offers a peaceful escape in the heart of Stanford.
The cottage comprises 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 guests at a time. Each bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed that can be converted into 2 single beds upon request. Both rooms have open-plan en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, toilet, and washbasin, as well as ample cupboard space. Towels, linen, and toilet paper are provided.
The living area features a dining table, comfortable seating, and a fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped for a carefree self-catering stay, including a stove, oven, fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, crockery, and cutlery. Guests have access to free Wi-Fi throughout their stay.
Secure on-site parking is available, although it is not covered.
Stanford is ideally located between the mountains, river, and sea, and is just a 30-minute drive from both Hermanus and Gansbaai. A variety of activities are available in the area, catering to both adventure seekers and those looking to unwind with a good book beside the fire.
