Description

Die Wit Hangmat is located in the Leeuwkloof Valley, less than an hour’s drive north of Pretoria, and offers accommodation in a beautiful private bushveld setting.

Accommodation consists of 2 units with en-suite bathrooms, accommodating up to 9 guests. The first unit is a one-bedroom cottage furnished with a king-size bed, child's bed, and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet, and basin. The living area has a double sleeper couch, and the unit includes a fully equipped kitchen.

The second unit accommodates 4 guests and has 2 bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and basin. The second bedroom has an extra-length double bed and shares the bathroom with the first bedroom. All bedding, linen, bath towels, and swimming towels are provided.

Communal facilities include a spacious lapa with dining and cooking amenities such as a gas braai, 2-plate stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, tea- and coffee-making facilities, cutlery, crockery, and glassware. Ice, wood, and firelighters are included in the rates. A smaller lapa provides an additional gathering space. Guests have exclusive access to a heated Jacuzzi overlooking the bushveld, a splash pool, and a games room with a pool table, table tennis, and a dartboard.

Activities on the property include cycling, walking, birdwatching, and self-drive game viewing. Various wildlife species and birdlife can be seen, and parking is available for a maximum of 4 vehicles.

Dinokeng Game Reserve is close enough for a day visit, while Cullinan offers shops and restaurants.
