A rare find, Dinky's Den is a much-loved family home that sits right on the beach with uninterrupted sea views and direct access to the sand. Having hosted over 40 years of barefoot holidays, it comfortably sleeps 8 guests across 4 bedrooms, 3 of which are en-suite.
The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The second and third bedrooms each have 2 single beds and en-suite bathrooms fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. The fourth bedroom has 2 single beds and makes use of a separate bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, basin, and toilet. Crisp linen and towels are provided.
Unpretentious yet full of charm, the home is designed for relaxed communal living, featuring an open-plan kitchen, dining area, and lounge that flow seamlessly onto a deck overlooking the ocean. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and features a lovely dining set where guests can enjoy their meals. It extends to the lounge furnished with comfy seating.
A sheltered courtyard with a braai area provides the perfect spot for outdoor dining and lazy afternoons. With the ocean truly on the doorstep, guests can enjoy surfing, fishing, diving, snorkelling, running, and hiking right from the property. The house is also within walking distance of the Arniston Hotel and Spa, as well as the historic Arniston slipway and fishing village. Ariston promises a memorable and authentic seaside escape.
