Baie gemaklik en ruim. Alles was netjies binne die kamer, maar daar is baie buite wat dalk aandag nodig het. Net algemene netheid. Verder het ons lekker gebly.

Place very dirty, the grass wasn't cut, the place didn't have sufficient light outside. Never again. Terrible.

It is unfortunate to hear that this is the perception. I spoke twice during the guest's stay with him to hear if everything was fine and not once did he mention that he had any concerns and stated that they enjoyed their stay upon checkout. He made a booking for 1 but had company throughout his stay. Yes, the lawn was not mowed and the outside areas needed attention due to the garden services not showing up because of bad weather. In South Africa, we do have great challenges with electricity and we at Doedoe Plekkie try to do our part in conserving this resource. We therefore don't waste by having too many lights unnecessarily burning outside throughout the night. It works on a timer during peak times, but if guests do require more light, they are welcome to put all the extra lights on or request for us to put them on. Our guests' needs are important to us and that is why we are always available for requests, concerns and suggestions and resolve any issues swiftly to ensure a safe, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, if guests do not notify us of any issues and even when asked, say they enjoy their stay, there is not much more that we can do.

Fantasties. Ons sal weer kom oorslaap. Baie dankie vir al julle gasvryheid en mooi skoon slaapplek. Ons het ons badgoed daar vergeet, Vela het dit vir ons gepudo en volgende dag ontvang. Baie dankie!

Not suitable when travelling for business. The team found the accommodation to be average and in need of an upgrade, especially the bedding. We booked 3 rooms for 5 people (1, 2, 2 per room), and upon arrival, part of the team was given a room outside to accommodate all 4 workers instead of 2 rooms with 2 people in each. This room was not available when making the booking. It was accessed via the outside, and the pathway was untidy and looked like a mechanic's workshop. Meals were included but were not worth the money spent. It would have been better to provide our own meals.

The rooms that were booked was available but it was rooms like described on the booking platform with a queen-size bed in each room and a shared bathroom. The team members did not want to share the queen-size bed and the layout and size of the rooms were not suitable to move single beds into the rooms. We showed the rooms to the team members and gave the team the choice to either stay in the alternative accommodation with a room that had 3 single beds and a queen size bed as well as a small kitchen area and an outside bathroom or stay in the rooms that were originally booked. The beds as well as the bedding in the alternative accommodation are brand new. The pathway to this alternative accommodation is through the lapa pool area and a paved pathway lead to the outside area in front of the room. So I am confused about the statement that the pathway looks like a mechanics workshop. During the team's stay we communicated various times with the team members to hear if everything was ok and if they were comfortable, we also asked every day if they were satisfied with their meals and if they had enough food. They always said yes thank you the food is very nice. We cater according to their dietary preferences and needs. We are always here to handle and sort out any complaints immediately. We did not receive any during the team's stay. Doedoe Plekkie is a Homestay and we do have a lot of business travelers who appreciate the comfortable at-home feeling and are returning regularly.

Baie vriendelik en baie skoon, lieflike, Afrikaanse plek. Sal enige tyd aanbeveel, baie behulpsaam. Lekker gebly en veilig gevoel. Sal weer van hul dienste gebruik maak. Goeie area.

Die plek het 'n tekort aan gasvryheid, by ontvangs kry jy min inligting, net 'n sleutel en rigtingaanwysers na jou kamer toe. Die buurkamer was heelnag baie besig en het geraas.

Wees gelaat! Ons het absoluut wees gevoel, aangesien die eienaars nie daar was nie. Dit is nie aangenaam om alleen in 'n vreemde plek te wees nie, veral as jy 'n gastehuis geboek het en nie 'n selfsorgeenheid nie.

Baie jammer dat jul so gevoel het. Daar was wel vooraf per epos in kennis gestel en gratis opgradering van kamers was verskaf. As ook gratis koue ontbyt. Verder was ek steeds enige tyd via whatsapp, email of selfs telefonies beskikbaar indien daar iets was wat staff lid nie jul mee kon bystaan nie.
