Description

Don Don River Mill Lodge is situated on a picturesque farm located 16 km from Hobhouse in the Free State. Dating back to 1865, the large sandstone mill stands on the banks of the Caledon River, which borders Lesotho. From this vantage point, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the mountain range in Lesotho.

Accommodation is offered in a choice between 3 free-standing chalets, accommodating between 2 to 6 guests. The chalets are furnished with comfortable beds and each has a private bathroom. Two of the chalets have kitchens, while the Miller's Hut is used as additional accommodation for larger groups and has no kitchen facilities.

Guests can enjoy fishing for carp, yellow fish, and barbel on the banks of the river, which flows alongside a dense poplar grove. Whether for couples, friends, or families, Don Don River Mill Lodge is an ideal getaway for those seeking a relaxing retreat in a natural setting.
