Description
Driehoek Mountain Retreat is nestled on a picturesque farm perched on the slopes of the mountains near the village of Haenertsburg, in Magoebaskloof region. This strikingly beautiful region lies at the foot of the Drakensberg mountain ranges and is known as hiking country, boasting spectacular scenery and forests.
The charming cottage comprises 4 well-appointed bedrooms which can accommodate 12 guests at a time. The main bedroom, featuring a fireplace, contains a queen-size bed as well as a single bed and offers exceptional views of the mountains. The second bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed while the third bedroom has 1 double bed and the fourth bedroom contains 1 single bed and a king-size bed. The living area provides additional sleeping amenities in the form of twin single beds. There are 2 bathrooms which are shared between the bedrooms.
There is a well-equipped kitchen featuring 3 fridges, stove, oven, a Breville coffee machine, kettle and microwave. Additional facilities include 2 braai areas, a backup generator and 2 TV areas, with access to DStv.
Guest can enjoy mountain biking, numerous hiking trails, and birdwatching on the farm while activities to experience in the area include fishing, kloofing, gin or beer tasting, swimming, zip lines, canoeing, fly-fishing and star gazing.
