True Kalahari bliss. Neat place, with everything needed!

A beautiful place in the Kalahari. Wish we could have stayed longer! We slept at Drumsheugh Cottage for 2 nights and had a great time. The cottage has everything one needs. It is an ideal 'stopover' to or from the Kgalagadi Park. Will definitely stay here again!

Peace. Had a great stay and slept well and enjoyed the nature and tranquility. The inside fireplace is a bit of a problem and makes the place smell like straw inside.

A good stop for Kgalagadi. Very peaceful in a remote location with beautiful scenery.

A bit of a disappointment, but it was a nice stay in the end. Is a nice little house, but is about 150 meters from the store that you don't see in their photos. The first night the people were busy lifting carcasses with the chain block to slaughter. So not as peaceful as we had hoped. The second night was more what we had hoped for. I asked in advance if I could drive around the farm and they confirmed that I could move around the farm freely. When we arrived there, I was told that there was hunting and I was only allowed to move around the camp around the cottage.

It was lovely outside around the fire, but space inside was tight for four people. The bedspreads and linen are excellent, but that's where it ends. The rest is not up to standard, cutlery is very poor. Bathroom is poor.

Perfect stopover on the way to Kgalagadi. We had a great stay, thank you. The R31 road between Van Zylsrus and Askham is just very bad.

Nice. We had a nice stay, but I think the photos are misleading. Very nice house, but for the incredibly bad road and the fact that you're actually staying in a farm yard, I don't think it's worth it when I compare our other places' location and price.
