Dwarsrivier Country Getaway has a two star grading with the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa and is located in the heart of Cloete's Mountain Pass, about 13 km from Herbertsdale, accessible via a gravel road.

Accommodation is offered in 2 rondavels and 2 cottages, each uniquely designed in its own way offering the best experience to get back in touch with nature, with over 40 spotted bird species. The cottages have ranging sleeping capacities and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are fitted with showers, basins, and toilets. Linen and towels are provided. The cottages have kitchens and kitchenettes equipped with a fridge, 2 plate stove, oven, microwave, cutlery, crockery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Guests staying at the property can enjoy a variety of relaxing activities.
