Beautifully done and will return. Absolutely beautiful little house, it was perfect for two couples and in a very good location near the river. Only two little points, for five days, we would have liked fresh towels and the big fence in front rather spoilt the animal experiences. Couldn't a partition be taken out? But that aside, we will come back with more friends and also use the Lodge. A1.

Very nice among the animals. Lovely, neat and with a few animals walking around there every morning.

Quiet, private and the location was fantastic. We had a very nice stay and it was an experience.

Forest at its best. Wonderful experience, really enjoyed the animals that came to greet us in the evening.

Neat guesthouse. The house is modern with tasteful decor. Everything you need is at hand in the kitchen (one freezer drawer had blood in it and the fridge itself was packed with ice). The bedding is first class and the bathroom is spacious. The outside area is neat and the splash pool is welcome for the summer. The braai pit is conveniently close by (the braai grid needs attention and the height adjustment needs to be regulated with bricks). All sorts of animals came to visit - even a nightingale. We only stayed one day and would like to make a few comments based on other reviews: The road is really very bad from the tarmac to the guesthouse - speed of only 10 km/h is not exaggerated! Parking - vehicle security is uncertain and there is also no canopy. Some of the blinds in front of the windows still do not work or are damaged and some of the lights do not work either. It is not private - a double-storey building is currently being built right next to the guesthouse (and it is far from finished) and some of the workers are sleeping on the premises. The construction can be heard throughout the day. The workers were walking back and forth in the late afternoon to get water from the lodge on the other side of our guesthouse. On the morning of our departure, we were subjected to extremely harsh language from the foreman who was unhappy with the workers - this is something that cannot be helped, but it was unfortunately part of our experience there. What was unacceptable to us: Guests are formally told to wash their own dishes on the day of departure, tidy up the house, remove the bin bag and carry it 50 m down the road to the collection point. If this is not done, guests are fined. And then there is a collection bottle for tips in the kitchen!

Netjiese gastehuis.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay. We appreciate the positive comments about the decor, kitchen, bedding, bathroom and the outdoor area. It is important to us that guests have a comfortable and neat experience, and we are pleased that you experienced it that way. We have noted the points you mentioned: The freezer and fridge are unfortunately a one-off issue that has since been resolved. The braai grill and blinds are being repaired and lights are being checked. We realise the road is rough – unfortunately this is a common challenge in Marloth Park and beyond our control, but we understand it can be inconvenient. The construction work near the property is temporary and should not be a long-term problem. We apologise for the inconvenience. Regarding the house rules: we ask guests to leave the house tidy and help with basic things such as taking out the rubbish. This helps us to get the house ready on time and neatly for the next guests. This rule was clearly communicated during booking and is standard practice at many self-catering units. However, we will look into how we can communicate this in a friendlier and easier way. We appreciate your honest feedback as it helps us improve. We hope you will visit again in the future and have an even better experience. Kind regards Michelle Edjami Guest House

Hierdie reël is duidelik gekommunikeer tydens bespreking en is standaardpraktyk by baie selfsorg-eenhede. Vriendelike groete Michelle Edjami Guest House

Delicious! Edjami cottage was great. It's close to the river and we could walk down to it to see the animals. The workers are friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Our sons are 8 and 4 years old and the "cottage" was perfect for us. Can't wait to visit again.

Heerlik! Edjami cottage was wonderlik.

My stay was great. My stay was wonderful, the house was clean and had everything that we would need for our stay. The beds were very comfortable. Except on our second night, someone broke the window of our bedroom and gained access in the night while we were sleeping and stole my husband's wallet and money and threw all the cards outside. The host was very helpful when we informed her and contacted the security, and they explained that this hasn't happened in years.

Nice stay in beautiful accommodation. A beautiful place, with all facilities, very tastefully decorated. Had a nice stay, peaceful in the forest. Just a pity there was no canopy or protection for the car. The dirt roads (streets) in Marloth Park are also indescribably poor and one can only drive there at less than 10 km/h.

Lekker gebly in pragtige verblyf.
