Description

Erdzak Country Venue – On the Farm is a working farm situated just 5 km outside Standerton on the Vrede road. Guests can enjoy an authentic farm experience, with fields, cattle, and horses right on their doorstep. There is a dam where visitors can relax, fish, and take in the beauty of nature. Activities include picnics, hiking, and fishing in the farm dams.

The rooms were once an old dairy that has been converted into a cosy and luxurious apartment. This unit is part of three adjacent apartments, each with its own theme and atmosphere. It features a kitchenette with all essentials, a bathroom, and an open-plan lounge and bedroom with a queen-size bed and sleeper couches for children. Guests have access to a small patio with a braai area.

Covered parking with security beams and an alarm system is available, or guests can park directly in front of the apartment.

Erdzak Country Venue also serves as a wedding venue, with a chapel located just behind the self-catering units. A nearby eucalyptus grove provides a picturesque setting for wedding photos and outdoor ceremonies under the trees. Receptions are held in the large barn.

These units are perfect for bridal couples or guests attending a wedding, as well as travellers en route to KwaZulu-Natal or Gauteng, or those simply seeking a weekend getaway from the city. Come and enjoy genuine South African farm hospitality.
