Description

Erin Guest House and B&B is a charming and historic home nestled on a smallholding in Bergville, a picturesque town in the Northern Drakensberg area. It provides accommodation in a choice of a free-standing cottage or a guest room in the main house.

The Cottage is situated in the garden and offers guests privacy. The bedroom contains a queen-size bed and its en-suite bathroom has a bath, shower and heated floors. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave and washing machine. The lounge features a sleeper couch as well as local TV. Braai facilities available.

The Erin main room is private and attached to the main house. The room has a double bed as well as an en-suite bathroom with a spa bath, shower, and wall heater for the cold winter nights. Facilities include free Wi-Fi, a bar fridge and a microwave. This room opens onto its own small balcony with a garden view.

The Protea room is spacious and comfortable with a queen-size bed and en suite bathroom with bath and shower. The room has an extra single bed for extra family members and a sitting area and feature a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Relax on the patio and enjoy the sunset over the berg.

The Lavender Room is a room inside Erin Guesthouse. Access to the room is off the main verandah and through the dining room. The lavender room is a private unit with 2 single beds, which can be combined to a king bed on request. The bathroom has floor heating and is fitted with a shower, toilet, and a washbasin.
There are tea-and-coffee making facilities, a bar fridge and a small table and chair in the room. Open view TV and free Wi-Fi are available. Guests can use the dining room facilities and relax on the verandah or under the tree in the garden.

Guests can cool down in the shared swimming pool, enjoy a braai at the braai area, or relax in the gardens or lounge in the main house.

Bergville serves as a gateway to the Drakensberg region as well as local attractions such as the Spioenkop Dam & Nature Reserve, Tugela Falls, historical attractions, and a variety of natural attractions.
