Description

Five Pebbles at Piece of Africa is located about 30 km northeast of Pretoria in the Boekenhoutskloof area on a small bushveld farm. The accommodation forms part of the greater Dinokeng area. Please note that it is not inside the Dinokeng Nature Reserve, but it is close by; Nyati Gate is approximately 20 km away. Here, guests can enjoy beautiful views and the tranquillity of the bush. It’s ideal for those wanting to escape the city and breathe a little, as well as for couples looking to spend quality time together.

This self-catering chalet accommodates 2 guests. It features an open-plan sleeping area furnished with a double bed and a bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet, and basin. Linen and towels are provided for guests' convenience.

The kitchen includes a fridge, two-plate gas stove, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

Other amenities include a braai area, lounge area, dining area, splash pool, gas heater, and fan. A picnic table and camping chairs are also provided. In winter, a gas heater is supplied for extra warmth, and in summer, a fan ensures comfort. The thatched grass roof helps keep the interior cool, and the chalet has a covered outdoor area for relaxing.

The farm is home to a variety of wildlife for guests to enjoy, including blue wildebeest, blesbok, impala, and small game that pass through. If you’re lucky, you may spot the giraffes next door, right at your doorstep. Listen to the calls of jackals and lions at night, and fish eagles during the day. Five Pebbles is the ideal spot for nature lovers, wildlife photographers, and birdwatchers. Please note: game viewing is only possible on foot.
